Siena local tips

Visit Siena in a day, here is our list of things to do and see, also please read our blog for more details.  Visit the Duomo and Piazza del Campo first of all.  Than a snack at Antica Drogheria Manganelli in via della Citta 71 to 73.  They produce their Panforte, a typical Toscanian cake, but you go mainly to buy the spice mixture to make it at home. It really is an institution in the city and beyond. Also it’s possible to find so many typical and traditional products that you can’t miss!

Than some shopping: Cortecci is a landmark that offers in its two elegant boutiques in the center of Siena the best in clothing, footwear and accessories collections for men & women. The upscale store in Banchi di Sopra offers a selection of the best brands: Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, the chic-sportswear Brunello Cucinelli, Moncler, Hogan accessories and footwear, Balenciaga. Also we like Falchini.  The Falchini family has a leather tradition of over a hundred years, originally from Florence, then in Siena in 1931. The business was handled for three generations until today which is run by Anna and Giovanna Falchini, whose primary purpose is to pass on the family tradition, adapting each time to the different market needs and providing customers with quality products, service,  friendliness and helpfulness. Please contact us for the full guide of shopping and food in Siena.
